The Fiji Airways Men and Women’s National 7s team were reminded by the President Major General Retired Jioji Konrote of the important task that lies ahead in the World Sevens Series.
His Excellency addressed both teams to lay a platform and improve from their previous standard.
“We should show the world we have a lot more to offer, not only we have a fresh team and talent but a legacy to uphold as Olympic sevens champions and series champs.”
Meanwhile, Fiji kicks off the Dubai 7s campaign against Russia on the 1st of December at 7.06pm; they then play Wales at 10.06pm and face Australia a day later at 4.06am.
The final will be played on the 3rd of December at 4.33am.
