In the cup semis starting this hour, Fiji 1 plays Wardens Gold while Wardens Green takes on Fiji 2.

The Cup final is scheduled for 2pm.

Meanwhile, national coach Ben Ryan is pleased to have taken his two teams at the meet.

Speaking at the opening ceremony yesterday, Ryan says he expects the local teams to provide tough competition to his teams.

“The boys haven’t played much rugby in the last couple of months so they are raring to play some good games against some local opposition and also against some excellent warden’s teams and we expect to be pushed hard at this tournament. Vinaka to the Macuata province and also to the people of the friendly north to accommodate the two national teams in what’s arguably the most important 7’s season.”

Ryan will name his reduced 16 member team after the final today.
