The Vodafone Fiji 7s side is being hailed by passengers on board a Virgin Australia flight from Nadi to Brisbane.
The ruggers responded to a serious health scare when a passenger fell ill in mid-flight.
Team doctor, William Kwoong attended to the distressed woman to offer assistance.
The players then offered to serve food to the rest of the plane as the air hostesses struggled with the demands of the untimely lunch service.
A passenger aboard the flight says the players then assisted with the clean-up of the trays and rubbish for the entire plane, while one player held the oxygen mask over the face of the distressed passenger.
The Fiji 7s side was en route to Dubai for the opening leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series, which kicks-off next Friday.
Fiji will meet Canada in its opening game at 6pm.
