The Vodafone Fiji 7s side will take a cautious approach when it defends its Dubai 7s title next weekend.

Coach Ben Ryan says his players cannot afford to look past the group stage which features France, Argentina and 2016 Olympic Games hosts Brazil.

“I thought Argentina and France in our group, both showed some real signs of quality stuff in Gold and real potential and they will be very competitive.”

The Vodafone Fiji 7s side departs for Dubai tonight.

The Osea Kolinisau-led side will face France in its first pool match at 6:44pm next Friday and later meet Brazil at 9:44pm.

Fiji will then take on Argentina at 1:52am on Saturday.
