A warm up game against the USA team yesterday has heightened the senses of the Vodafone Fiji 7s side preparing for the Glasgow 7s in Scotland this weekend.
In a Twitter update from Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan, the friendly match against the Americans has shown his side is ready to take on pool opponents Argentina, Kenya and Wales.
Fiji’s Scotland opener is against Argentina at 9.30pm on Saturday, then it’s Kenya at 12.36am on Sunday.
The last pool match is against Wales at 3.47am.
Although the World Sevens Series title is out of Fiji’s reach this season, Ryan and his men hope to claim the last two cup wins in Scotland and London, a week later.
So far, New Zealand leads the series with 136 points followed by South Africa with 129 and Fiji on 112 points.
