The Vodafone Fiji 7s side stood out with their overall performance in the first two tournaments of the World Sevens Series, despite the cup quarterfinal loss to France in Cape Town last week.

Team Manager, Ropate Kauvesi says individual players have made great strides to improving their game from last season and there is stiff competition for places in the squad.

“We are happy where we are, last year we’ve made big improvements from the tournament last year. Looking at their record, you know that there’s no other team that has won 39 games first year in a row.”
