Fiji 7s line up friendly with Kenya

The Fiji 7s team have lined up a friendly match with Kenya in Japan today.
Team manager, Semi Rogoyawa says they were fortunate to get a run against them to allow coach, Alivereti Dere to fine tune some set-pieces.

“The one session, the afternoon will be half day for the players. On Friday, we’ll go for a walkthrough at the stadium. To us the weather has been favourable even though 10 degrees at night and around 17degrees during the day. We have invited the Fiji ambassador (Isikeli Mataitoga) to Japan on Friday night to give out the jerseys to the players”.

Fiji’s first pool game on Saturday is against France at 3.12pm, Japan at 6.47pm and will meet England at 10.09pm.

The opening match at the Tokyo 7s between New Zealand and the United States at 2pm followed by Australia versus Hong Kong, Argentina versus Kenya, Wales-Russia, South Africa-Scotland and Samoa-Portugal before the Fiji-France game.
