The Argentina team can prove to be a obstacle for the team, having played the Fijians 48 times and losing on 36, winning 11 and drawing one.

Fiji plays France in its opening match at 6.44pm on Friday, before meeting Brazil at 9.44pm.

The last pool match is against Argentina at 1.52am on Saturday.
