FIBA Oceania to hold coaching clinic

FIBA Oceania will also run a coaching clinic during the under 19 championships as part of their build for the 2015 Pacific Games.

General Secretary, David Crocker says there will be two coaching courses held by the President of the World Association of Basketball Coaches, Patrick Hunt.

“He is to run two coaching courses, there is one for the general public which will be open up tomorrow evening and there will be some more information about that in the website. The clinic for the pacific games head coaches that will start on Monday.”

Crocker adds the coaches will do some classroom activities and analyze the games as part of the clinic.

The FIBA under 19 Oceania Championships will be held on Monday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
