Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel says they have concluded the investigation regarding Fiji’s Football Coach Christophe Gamel.

Patel says their investigation committee did not find Gamel guilty of “player abuse” and has been cleared.

Patel says they have forwarded the result of the investigation to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and to the Fiji Sports Commission.

“We have to do a counselling between the players and the coach to make sure that it doesn’t happen in the future but assault is something that’s either a police assault case one needs to go to the hospital. But there’s nothing as such in this.”

Patel says their officials will be working closely with players to sort out their issues and concerns.
