In the feature game of the Vodafone National Club Championship yesterday FC City United of Lautoka defeated Kasavu FC of Rewa 4-3 in its first pool match at Fiji FA Academy ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

Laced with Rewa reps like Vuniuci Tikomaimereke, Peniame Drova, Amani Makoe, Taione Kerevanua, Setareki Hughes and Anish Khem, Kasavu took an early lead of 2-nil in the game.

Samuela Drudru captained FC City United then came firing back and scored three four goals to seal the match.

Kasavu FC plays Combine Brothers at 12pm today while FC City United battles Yalalevu Club Football at 4pm.

In the other matches, Yalalevu beat Combine Brothers 3-nil, Nailaga defeated Bureta one nil, Blues FC beat Friends United 3-2.
