Good news for rugby lovers…FBC Sports will bring exclusive coverage of the World Sevens Series on radio.

CJ Patel and FBC will bring all of Fiji’s games live on radio with the voice of rugby – Graham Eden.

CJ Patel marketing manager Nathan Hilderbrand says this is their commitment towards the people of Fiji.

Meanwhile, three Fiji sevens team will be named for the World Sevens Series.

Coach Alifereti Dere says they are remedying the problems that has affected the the national sevens team’s performance.

He says injuries and overseas contracts has seen the sevens team lose players and with it the consistency in performance.

“Two teams will be the main team while one will supplement them. We are doing this because we have lost players to injuries and overseas clubs. This will help us a lot.”

The sevens team held its second fitness test yesterday and saw the return of senior players such as Watisoni Votu, Setefano Cakau and players from the Warden’s Club.

The Gold Coast Sevens takes place on October 12th and 13th.
