FASANOC President Joe Rodan senior and Chief Executive Lorraine Mar made a submission to the standing committee on public accounts in regards to the 2016 annual report yesterday.

“We need full-time bodies but if we need full-time staffs we need funding, so we have applied to the government to have full-time employment for various organizations but was rejected and a lot of the staffs at the moment are volunteers, who have other work to do, so if the government can approve on our request, I believe we can improve the sporting bodies and sports as a whole in Fiji.”

Meanwhile, FASANOC is working on assisting 98 athletes that will represent Fiji to the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast Australia to come April.
