The Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee received a cheque of Ten Thousand dollars ahead of the Olympic Games in Brazil next month.

FASANOC Chief Executive Officer, Lorraine Mar says are grateful to Teivovo Rugby who came on board to help Team Fiji.

“We were really pleased when Culden (Kamea) approached with this proposal and like Culden said rugby sevens is his passion but we really appreciated from the fact that he didn’t go out and did this on his own, he chose to come to FASANOC and become a partner and support team Fiji.”

Meanwhile, this money was raised from the sale of Fiji 7s wrist bands.

Fiji 7s will receive Five thousand dollars and the other half will be given to Team Fiji.
