Fiji Football Association President, Rajesh Patel says hiring Frank Farina to coach the national side is one of the contributions to the success of the association throughout this year.
Patel adds that Farina has taken the performance of the team to another level which is a good sign for the team in the coming years.
“The board decided yes that we need to move to a new direction with everything and with the coaching and technical department being revamped and everything. So with the Oceania’s help and everything, we requested and Frank accepted our offer. It’s been a very busy, hectic and successful season for Fiji FA.”
Patel adds that Farina has agreed to continue coaching the national squad in the new season.
Meanwhile, Farina will be guiding the national Under 23 side for the six match tour in Spain, next year.
