Fans in for a treat: Fa'arado

Fans are in for a treat during the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League football, which starts in Suva and Ba tomorrow.

That’s the comments from Team Wellington striker Henry Fa’arado, who has played in the country previously, featuring for Nadi.

His New Zealand club along with 11 other teams begin battle tomorrow for the top club prize in Oceania football.

“My message will be it’s probably the elite football in Oceania for the year. You don’t want to miss it, there will be a lot of talent out there. There will be lot of entertainment as well. If you have time come and come support the teams and there will be different football each team will bring and it will be exciting.”

Meanwhile, the competition gets underway tomorrow in the capital, where Suva takes on Auckland City at 4.30pm, while at 7pm, Amicale from Vanuatu plays Solomon Islands club, Western United.

In Ba, AS Pirae meets Lupe Ole Soaga at 4.30pm and Vodafone Ba clashes with Gaitcha at 7pm.

You can catch the live commentary of the Suva-Auckland City from 4.30pm, while the Ba-Gaitcha with voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart will air from 7pm.

Both games will be on Radio Fiji 2.
