The Maori All Blacks rugby team says fans are in for a great game when the side meets the Vodafone Flying Fijians in Suva tomorrow.

The two teams have played 28 times, with the Maori having won 19 games, lost seven and there have been two draws.

Based on the past encounters between the two teams, Maori coach Colin Cooper says he knows the Fijian players always rise to the occasion.

“It will be a great game. There are some very exciting players in both teams. And I think if the crowd come along and watch that. And I know the Fijian people are passionate about their game. In my past being here with the Junior All Blacks, I have witnessed that. To me it will be fantastic game. I think the team that has more patience and controls the ball particularly from set piece might have the edge over the other. If one team tries to play what is in front of them, they may stumble a little bit.”

The visitors have their captain’s run this afternoon.

A live commentary will air on Bula FM with the voice of rugby, Graham Eden.
