Team Fiji will be looking to get its hands on the Men’s Shot-put and discus gold medals in the Pacific Games next month through Mustafa Fall.
The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student has competed in a various events building up to the Pacific Games.
He says his working hard to beat his past achievements.
“I’m just trying to be the best that I can be, every competition for me is a task so I go out there and try and be a better person and try to be a better me.”
Fall recently broke the longest standing national men’s discus record which was set Mesulame Rakuro in 1958. He set a new record of 53.04 meters.
The old record was 51.84.
Also in his achievements, he broke the national shot-put record with a new a record of 16.21 meters.
Meanwhile, the Pacific Games will be held from the 7th to the 20th of next month in Apia, Samoa
