Flying Fijians halfback Nikola Matawalu and flyhalf Jonetani Ralulu will have instrumental roles to play against Georgia in trying to secure a win against Georgia tonight.

Former Flying Fijians captain and halfback, Mosese Ralulu says one of Fiji’s missed opportunities in their past three matches is getting the ball out often to the backline.

Rauluni spoke to Flying Fijians head coach, Inoke Male ahead of the Georgia match.

“Talking to Male he’s been saying for the backs to get more ball unfortunately the 9s and 10s haven’t been able to do that and its very important to feed our backs., We’ve had the biggest running centers in Vereniki Goneva and Sireli Naqelevuki. It’s about our number nine getting the ball out and the 10 also in letting the boys get out and having a crack at the line. I’ve told Nikola after the England match to pass the ball out more. He’s a great runner with the ball but he needs to get it out quickly and wade the defense out – Wade it out log enough and then get at the teams when they are tired.”

The Fiji-Georgia match kicks off at midnight.
