Exciting weekend ahead in the first ever Radradra 7s

Rugby teams from around the country are starting to arrive in Taveuni ahead of the first-ever Radradra 7s tournament this weekend.

Tournament organizer Saki Veitogavi confirmed that 40 Men’s teams will be participating.

Some teams from Viti Levu traveling includes Lami Cavaliers, Ratu Filise, Army LFC and Gau Kacau Knights.

Semi Radradra is giving back to his community by sponsoring around $20,000 and consolation prizes to the tournament.

Radradra is in the country and it is understood that he will also be playing for a team that will also feature Josua Tuisova as they try to gain more game time ahead of the Pacific Nations Cup and Rugby World Cup.

The winner in the Men’s division will walk away with $8,000 while the Runner up will collect $4,000.

In the U20 the Cup winner will collect $2,500 while the winner in the Women’s Netball will take home a $1,000.
