The excitement over the 2018 Melbourne Cup has started to hype up our local punters as we draw closer to the much-awaited day.

Grants Betting Fiji operations manager Vijendra Sundar says punters have been showing up in all their outlets and cannot wait until the final 24 fields are finalized on Saturday.

“The Melbourne Cup itself when people hear about it, it’s a race that stops the nation. Melbourne Cup in Fiji is really hyped up and people are looking forward to the last 24 horses’ final field.”

The final field for the Melbourne Cup will be out on Sunday.
