Being selected to represent the National Under 17 Woman’s Football team, is a challenge for 14 year-old, Harina Erasito.
The Year-9 student of Natabua High School is the youngest in the squad.
Erasito says she has always been consistent with her trainings and to be given the opportunity to be part of the team is a step higher to her achievements.
“Really proud of myself because this is not like my first time playing for the Under 17, I also played for the Under 18 national rugby team where we went for the common wealth.”
She adds that her family has been always pushing her to do better and have been very supportive since day one.
Eresito is one of the twenty two players that have been selected to represent the country at the OFC Under 17 Women Championships in Cook Islands, next month.
