England forward warns his team not to take Fiji lightly

September 13, 2015 6:46 pm

England would be “fools” to think the Vodafone Flying Fijians are incapable of pulling off a shock victory over the hosts in the opening game of the Rugby World Cup 2015, says English number eight Ben Morgan.

With less than 5 days remaining to the Pool A clash at Twickenham, Morgan says the Fijians were a much-improved team and would be itching to cause an upset on such a high-profile stage.

Fiji’s captain Akapusi Qera has already warned England that the Pacific Islanders “will die for each other” and are the best Fijian team he has played with over the past decade.

26 year old Morgan played with Qera at Gloucester and believes the 31-year-old flanker will have a huge influence on the match.

Fiji plays England at 7am this Saturday and you can watch the match live on FBC TV.
