Eleven more players signs Fiji 7s contract

Eleven more Vodafone Fiji 7s players have been confirmed to have signed their contracts, today.

FRU is yet to reveal the names of the players that have been contracted.

FRU Chief Executive Officer, Radrodro Tabualevu confirmed this and commended the players for signing the contracts.

He says the players’ acceptance and signing of their contracts marks a new era for Fiji Rugby.

He adds this is, in the history of the Fiji Rugby Union, the first time that players are contracted to play for Fiji.

Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach, Ben Ryan echoed Tabualevu’s sentiments saying that this will assist him.

Ryan says all the players that have signed, have aspirations of playing for Fiji in the Olympic Games and the HSBC World Sevens Series.

Meanwhile the Vodafone Fiji 7s team will march into camp next Wednesday for their final preparations for the Dubai and South Africa 7s.
