Eight teams have confirmed their spots in the quarter finals of the Fiji Bitter Wairiki Parish 7s in Taveuni that will be held tomorrow.

Defending Champions First Light Taveuni secured the first spot after beating New Dawn Reds of Welagi 24 – 5.

Naselesele Blues beat Somosomo Sharks 10 – 0 to claim the second quarter final spot. Lavena Coastal Reds beat Lavena Coastal Green 26 – 12 in the third elimination to claim their spot in the quarterfinal.

Viliame Maya’s Naselesele Whites side beat Donasio Ratubuli’s St Patrick Remote side 12- 0 to claim the fourth spot in the quarters.

Buca defeated Kibutz of Welagi 17- 7.

The furthest travelling team Nabasovi bowed out of the competition after losing to Raiwasa in the 6th elimination game.

Combine Brothers of Wainikeli beat Green Sand 2 of Nawi to claim the last spot in the quarters. In the first quarterfinal match tomorrow, First Light Taveuni will take on Naselesele Blues.

Lavena Coastal Reds will take on St Joseph Brothers in the 2nd quarterfinal. In the third match Naselesele White will take on Buca. And in the last quarter final match, Raiwasa will take on Combine Brothers.
