Early departure for Fiji 7s

November 26, 2014 3:30 am

The Vodafone Fiji 7s squad will have an extra three days of preparation in Dubai ahead of the second leg of the World Sevens Series next weekend.

Team manager Paula Biu says this move is to ensure the players have ample time to recover from jet lag as well as acclimatize to the dry conditions in the United Arab Emirates.

‘’We have set a training program that can make the boys recover from the jet lag and also be ready for the Dubai tournament, which is why we are leaving early. We usually leave on the week of the tournament’’.
