The Fiji Airways Drua side has moved to the top of the National Rugby Championship points table after thumping the Greater Sydney Rams 57-31 in Australia yesterday.

With six matches played, the Drua lead the standings with 20 points, one ahead of second placed Queensland Country.

However, Queensland has one match in hand and will overtake the Drua if they manage to win its next match.

The Drua is on a bye in round seven and host Queensland Country on the 21st of this month.

Meanwhile, the Drua have also won the Horan-Little Shield which the Rams had been holding since round one.

The Horan Little Shield is similar to the Ranfurly shield in New Zealand’s Mitre 10 Cup.
