Dreketi not part of Senior Division: FFA

The Fiji Football Association has made it clear that Dreketi will not be part of the Senior Division in the Courts Inter District Championship this year.

Dreketi which got demoted last weekend from the Premier Division have failed to meet the requirement set by Fiji FA this season.

Fiji FA Chief Executive, Mohammed Yusuf, says alongside Dreketi, Nadogo has also been relegated as they failed to have their local league this year.

On the 5th of September the Board of Control has decided that both the teams should be demoted and so Nadogo will be relegated to associate membership and Dreketi should go down to Senior Division and will be given six months to comply with the stature provision before they can take part in 2019.

Seaqaqa will replace Dreketi in the Senior Division IDC which will held from the 5th to the 10th of October at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
