Securing a contract with the Yorkshire Jets for the Vitality Netball Super league 2016 season is a dream come true for 26 year-old, Maria Lutua.
The Fiji Pearls vice-captain departed the country earlier today and says all her hard work has paid off and now it’s time to focus on lifting her game to another level.
“This a dream to be doing something that you love and a dream that is in your netball career and it’s like a tick in the bucket list kind of thing.”
Lutua made her debut for Fiji in 2009 and has earned 52 international caps.
The new Super League season will begin in January next year.
