The Fiji Car Club will hold its second drag race of the year this weekend.

Tropical Cyclones Winston and Zena delayed events, but executives are hopeful of getting things on track once again.

Club executive, Amit Prasad, says things have not gone their way in the past few months.

“This year has not been too fortunate for racers out there because of the cyclones we had that put us behind on our track and the race we had we couldn’t do much due to unfavorable weather conditions.”

The quarter mile drag race begins at 10am on Sunday at the Nanuku airstrip in Pacific Harbour.
