Development work done for football in the country is quite visible at the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Inter District Championships in Nausori.

Former Fiji Under 20 coach Frank Farina, who is in the country, says it is good to see the improvement at school level football.

“It’s good to be back visiting old friends for a few days and with the Secondary Schools competition on I times it perfectly so I get to watch some good football. I have been impressed as the standard is quite good.”

Meanwhile pool matches in the Under 15, 17 and 19 divisions continue at Ratu Cakobau Park and Saraswati Grounds today.

The finals will be played tomorrow.
