The Digicel Fiji 7s rugby team has settled in well in Dubai as they wait for the start of the tournament on Friday.

Coach Alivereti Dere says the players in the side, including the newcomers are ready to match the success from the Gold Coast tournament last month.

This despite having seven debutants in the side.

“For the fans they have been asking why the changes, I can assure you that these players are in the same level as those who played in the last leg. So expect positive results after the tournament.”

Fiji is pooled with Kenya, Scotland and Spain for the Dubai 7s and the first match is against Spain at 6.50pm on Friday.
