Fiji’s Iliesa Delana has created history after winning the country’s first ever gold medal at the Paralympics.
Delana, competing in the F42 men’s high jump cleared the bar at 1.74 metres to beat six other athletes.
The 27-year-old has also set a new regional record and became only the second ever athlete from the Pacific to win a medal at the Paralympics.
