Defending champions Northern were held to a nil all draw by Southern 2 in the Skyline Police Football Inter District Championships currently underway at Nasova Grounds in Suva.

In other matches Former Ba and Suva rep Ronald Lawrence led his Western Two side to a 2-1 win over Headquarters which had Inosi Cava in their squad.

Simione Tamanisau and Akuila Mataisuva’s PSRU (Police Special Response Unit) were held to a nil all draw against the Easter side.

Southern 1 is currently playing Western 1.

Pool matches continue today and tomorrow at the Nasova Grounds in Nasese while the semifinals and final will be played on Saturday after which the Police team to play Army in the Sukuna Bowl will be named.
