National badminton rep Chang-Ho Kim and female table tennis player Grace Yee are the first two athletes who have qualified for Team Fiji in the upcoming Youth Olympic Games in October.

According to FASANOC the only confirmed sports at the moment that will be participating are Athletics, Badminton and Table Tennis while swimming are still waiting for their qualification time.

17-year-old Ho Kim says he’s excited about being selected as this is his first time at the Games.

“I’ve been training for the past 18 months I’ve been training after school from 5.30 to 8.30am.”

The Youth Olympics will be held from the 6th to the 18th of October in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
