Day Two of Chow Games set for showdown

Day Two of the Chow Games will get underway soon at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Suva Blues and Nadroga/Navosa lead the boys and girls divisions respectively after the first day of competition yesterday.

Suva Blues leads the boys division with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze and is followed by Lautoka, Ra and Macuata.

Nadroga/Navosa were the surprise package in the girls division and lead with 5 gold, 4 silver and a bronze.

Suva Blues is in second spot with 4 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze and is followed by Bua, Macuata and Nadi.

Chow Games meet co-ordinator, Patrick Bower says Day one went smoothly without any major hiccups.

“What a great opportunity for the athletes to come, participate and go back home the richer. I mean richer by having mixed with other athletes, making decisions for themselves and having felt that they can do something and do it confidently.”

Day Two of the Chow Games will begin at 9am today.
