Former New Zealand Under-20 utility back Mosese Dawai will make his debut for Waikato when they face Auckland in the Mitre 10 cup match tonight.

While Dawai will earn his first cap fellow Fijian Sevu Reece has retained his place in the starting line-up.

Dawai and Reece will feature on the wings for the clash tonight.

Waikato faces Auckland at 7.35pm at Eden Park.
