Vodafone Fiji 7s powerful forward, Masivesi Dakuwaqa could be the surprise inclusion in the final team for the Olympic Games.

FBC Sports understands that Dakuwaqa has been in fine form and has impressed Coach Ben Ryan.

Dakuwaqa made his debut for the national team in Las Vegas and since then has become a core member of the side.

Ryan will name the final 12 member squad on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Fiji takes on Brazil in its first match at 4.30am on 10th of August, they will then face Argentina at 9.30am and plays USA at 4.30am on the 11th of August.

The medal quarterfinal will be held from 8am, with medal semi-final starting at 5.30am on 12 of August and Gold final will be played at 10.30am.
