Queensland Reds assistant coach Tony McGahan has highly rated Fijian winger Filipe Dagunu ahead of the Super Rugby season.

Dagunu is likely to feature for the Reds against Fiji, in their final trial match tonight.

McGahan says, this is the best time to test Dagunu, whose likely make it into the final squad for Super Rugby.

“Most Fijians has got a great anticipation where the players are granted to end up weather it’s a defence or attack. He has got great reaction, he has got a great style of running skills and he carries himself well which we saw in the National Rugby Championship.”

Fiji plays Reds at 9pm in Brisbane tonight.
