Cricket Fiji has invited the National High-Performance team to compete with the three top district clubs in their inaugural championship next month in Suva.

These teams are Lau Stingrays, Lau Sharks and Central Stallions.

Cricket Fiji Director, Josefa Rika says the championship will be a testing ground for the national players ahead of the World T20 qualifier in August.

“This is a good buildup where we providing our national players’ opportunities to get some valuable game time before August tournament.”

The T20 qualifier will be held from the 25th to the 30th of August at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
