Cricket Fiji will soon begin their preparations for the 2020 Women’s World T20 qualifi¬ers.

Cricket Fiji have organized two tournaments in Lautoka and will see the country’s top female cricketers compete in a three-day tournament in Lautoka and Suva.

Cricket Fiji chairman, Mosese Yavalanavanua says they will select an 18-member squad following the tournaments with the inclusions of over¬seas based-players expected to fur¬ther strengthen the squad’s goal of qualifying.

Cricket Fiji will also compete in next year’s Pacific Games in Samoa in both the women and men’s divisions which is an opportunity for them to prepare for the T20 qualifiers.
