Cricket Fiji is working hard in its attempt to having a good outing at the World Cup Qualifiers next year.

And High Performance Manager Joe Rika says they’re holding their final round of Elite League this afternoon to make up for the matches tomorrow.

“We’re holding the games at 2:30 this afternoon, this is to allow players to be involved in competitive cricket and since we have a tight schedule ahead of us in next year’s international matches, we’re giving this opportunity to players to give their best and not miss out on competitions.”

The Elite Player league brings 44 of the best players from around Fiji to compete in this competition to earn a spot in the senior national men’s team for 2013.

Games start at 2.30pm.
