Cooper Cronk given up until kick-off to prove himself fit

Cooper Cronk will be given up until kick-off to prove himself fit for the NRL grand final – but from the way he’s talking, Roosters staff will have their hands full stopping the former Test pivot.

Scans Sunday revealed that Cronk sustained a severe left rotator cuff injury during his side’s 12-4 win over South Sydney.

Speaking after the match, Roosters coach Trent Robinson said he was confident Cronk would play in his third consecutive decider on Sunday.
