The hype continues to build up as the upcoming inaugural Westfield 7s has been receiving a lot of interests from the local rugby clubs.

10 teams, some from as far as Tailevu, have confirmed their participation for the tournament and are keen to battle for a spot at the Coral Coast 7s, next year.

Tournament Organizer, Ratu Ponijese Rayasi says more teams have also been giving in their names but have yet to pay their registration fees.

He also adds they are expecting a huge turnout at the tournament.

Teams such as Westfield, Uto Babas, Qelekuro from Tailevu, Airport, QVS West, Natabua, First Landing will be competing at the one day competion.

The Westfield Mini 7s tournament will be held on the 19th of next month at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
