Competition heats up for Primary School IDC

Defending champions, Labasa football Under-14 side will feature in the first semifinal of the 43rd Vodafone Fiji Primary School IDC at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.

The side defeated Tavua 1-0 in the first quarterfinal yesterday.

In other matches, Nadroga beat Rewa 1-0, Nadi defeated Nasinu 1-0.
Suva will play Lautoka in the last cup quarterfinal today and the winner will progress in the final.

Fiji Primary School Football IDC president, Dinamani Mudaliar says the competitions are expected to get intense today.

“We have at 8am the under 14 semifinal and followed by the second semis at ground 1 and after the two semis we will have the final for the under 1 division.”

Meanwhile, the Labasa Under-12 side will feature in the final and will play Ba today.

This was after the Babasiga Lions beat Seaqaqa 1-0 in the first semis while Ba defeated Rakiraki 2-0.
