Defending champions Labasa, Lautoka, Nadi and hosts Ba recorded wins on Day 1 of the Fiji FA Women’s Inter District championship yesterday.

Labasa opened the tournament with a comfortable 14-0 win over Tavua.
The northerners led 10 nil at halftime.

In other matches yesterday, Lautoka beat Navua 2-0, Nadi encountered for Rewa 1-0 while Ba beat Nasinu 4-0.

Pool games continue today with the finals to be played tomorrow.
In the first match today, Tavua will be taking on Nadroga at 10 am at the Govind Park in Ba.
