Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee says the competition for halfback’s position in the starting line-up for the match against Italy will be high.
Nikola Matawalu has been in great form for his club Glasgow lately despite playing on the wing while Henry Seniloli and Frank Lomani have also been doing well at training.
“Nikola we know has been playing well for Glasgow which I think has been a very good move for him. It is interesting to see he has been playing for them well on the wing so we know how good of a halfback he is. I think we now have some good halfbacks now. Henry (Seniloli) played very well at the back-end of the series particularly against Samoa and Frank (Lomani) is a very good upcoming halfback.”
The Flying Fijians play Italy at 3am on Sunday.
