The Vatukoula 15s rugby side is banking on their defence to beat Ovalau in Round Eight of the Digicel Cup this weekend.
Coach, Senirusi Seruvakula says they while they have been worthy opponents against the bigger teams, they know Ovalau puts on a gutsy performance for the full 80 minutes.
“We need a lot of communication among players and they need to believe in themselves that impossible is nothing. It’s not going to be an easy game for us and it doesn’t matter if it’s a home game. We are one of the oldest teams in the competition and we will be out to prove our worth.”
Vatukoula will host Ovalau at Theodore Park on Saturday at 3pm.
Other Digicel Cup matches sees Tailevu taking on Rewa on Friday night at Ratu Cakobau Park.
On Saturday, Nadroga takes on Nadi at home, Lautoka meets up with Tavua, and Macuata plays against Northland while Suva hosts Naitasiri at Albert Park at 3pm.
