Top rugby sevens clubs from around the country will be in action early next year in the Uluinakau 7s at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Power-house teams such as Wardens, Yamacia and Tabadamu will battle for glory in the first tournament of 2015.

Tournament organizer Marika Naioba says with clubs from the Coral Coast such as Tovolea and Hideaway Hurricanes also expected to participate, the two-day competition will be the ideal start to the rugby season.

Naioba adds teams should also not count out the host side, Uluinakau, which claimed the Plate title at the Bayleys Coral Coast 7s in Sigatoka last month.

The Uluinakau 7s will be held on January 9-10.
