Former Fiji Bati Captain Petero Civoniceva will be inducted on to the NRL hall of fame on the first of August.

He is one of the six inductees announced last night by the NRL. Civoniceva is the only player of Fijian decent to play in 33 State of Origin matches for Queensland.

He has also amassed 309 NRL games for the Broncos and Panthers

Civoniceva is now a board member of the Fiji National Rugby League and is also chairing the Fiji New South Wales Bidding team who are bidding to have a local Fijian team in the New South Wales Cup.

The 42 year has also represented Fiji and Australia at international tests level.
